Kelli and I decided to go to NJ to see G-13 for New Year’s Eve.
When we arrived, everything was setup, but the band wasn’t to be found….
Skrow, however, was there.
See anything coming up you might want to see?
I stepped out back while Skrow smoked a cigarette….
And then left to go meet Jeff Nauman.
He is a short train ride away, and decided to spend New Year’s Eve with Kelli and I.
When we got back to the bar, the band was setup and ready to go.
Skrow joined in for a little drum fun.
Cousin Brian, living 15 minutes away, came by too.
I was using a new flash system, and kept catching the shadow of the mic on the guys….
Although I did manage to get some shots without the shadow.
The lighting from the front shows nice shadows on the face….
Different lighting is something I’ll be working with moving forward….
But for now it’s a work in progress.
The projector on the band showed psychedelic images.

The bar was giving out these little noise makers.
The bar was quite full….
Which made for a fun filled evening.
Skrow got up to announce the band was done….
But people still kept dancing….
Because it is New Year’s Rockin’ Eve ’06.

And John was happy to have the break.
All in all everyone had a good time….
Even Skip.

BTW, we were at Donegal’s Saloon in Kearny, NJ.
Arriving back at the room at 2am, Kelli and I were ready for bed after a 2 mile walk from the bar.
Later that morning, we woke and headed for home….
On the way, we happened to pass this van….
And this crazy guy. What a way to bring in the new year!!!!
