When I arrived, the guys were still setting up, so…..
I went with John to park the van.
When I came back, a little more progress had been made.
Bar food anyone?
John Sybert, tough guy.
Skip Maisel, Gene Simmons impersonator.
Jason Shegogue, Pete Townshend stunt double.
Sonny Martin, Zen master.
Skrow was working on getting the levels set….
And Tony was enjoying the warm up session.
After sound check, it was upstairs to relax for a bit.
Mookie Segal was there to play keys that night.
Skrow got the crowd warmed up….
And then G-13 took the stage.
They were sounding great!!!!
Mookie sat in the back and jammed along.
Jason shreds up the fret board….
While Mookie tears up the keys….
And Sonny throws down the rhythm.
Mookie was playing the house organ that night….
And it sounded great with the band!!!!!!
More of a lemon light then a lime light.
Skip got some of that color too.
Mookie enjoyed some coffee while playing….
And I enjoyed the house water.
John sang to the crowd….
And Skip joined in too….
And Mookie just kept his ear tuned to what was being played.
Jason’s guitar playing was on fire…..
And the crowd enjoyed it all.
At the set break it was back upstairs.
Always good to rest a bit….
And reflect upon the night so far.
No rest for me though.

With the set break over, it was back to playing for the masses.
Looks like he’s switched to water now.
Great music from a great band.
Catching the color can sometimes be tough….
But I do what I can….

Skrow gives the OK on the sound of the sound.
And Mookie was cool with that.
There were a few people upstairs….
And Brad gave them the lighter homage.
Bubba was still dancin’….
But Skrow stepped up to end the show.
It was Brad’s birthday, so Skip sang the obligatory song….
Then passed the cake to Brad.
Clean up time, and the house organ needed to be put away.
