Sign Language for G-13. Click here for pictures of the show. Kelli and I headed to Ocean City to see the band indicated with our hands.
Kelli and I slipped into the back door….
And found the guys working on the set list.
Skrow was working on getting the sound setup….
While the rest of us just loafed around.
You guys done yet?
OC’s finest were out front writing down license plate numbers for later reference.
Finished!!!
Skip helps Scrow with the sound check…..
And then Scarecrow warmed up the crowd.
There weren’t too many people there yet….
But that didn’t stop T from having a good time.
Pugs was on hand to record the night for your future listening pleasure.
The guys were just about ready to get started….
And with T in place, G-13 started the show.
Pictures tonight brought to you by Talon Photography photographer, Scott Habicht.
The band was in full swing….
And Jason’s guitar had a nice glow to it.
Some of them got the memo on how to dress….
While others got a different memo.
Scrow kept a watch on the sound…..
While I check out the layout of the room.
Kelli was happy to have a front row seat.
Skip tries to figure out who fouled the air.
Cayman sports the well worn G-13 wear.
I don’t use the flash that often when they’re playing….
Mostly because I like to try to catch the mood of the room….
Like this fish over head helping with the underwater mood….
Or this trippy tie dye mood.
Jason Shegogue, Lead Guitar.
Sonny Martin, drums.
Skip Maisel, rhythm guitar.
John Sybert, bass guitar.
T Lutz, Percussion.
In addition to taking pictures, I also make beer runs.
A study of circles.
There are rumors of a ghost at Coins.
Right before the end of the set….
T knocked over the palm tree….
Nice going, T Clutz.
With the guys on a set break, Skrow sang to everyone….
I had a beer with Brian.
Over a quick pee, T explained the finer elements of tree tipping.
Jason’s rig.
If you know Kelli and I, you know what we were drinking.
Sonny plugged into the board and got the sounds of Scrow straight form the source.
A little role reversal.
Click to add a captionJason used the set break to relax with a cold one….
While John hammed it up for the camera.
They did a serious shot as well.
Looks like he’s going to blow a gasket, doesn’t he?
Kelli left early, and walked home about 60 minutes before the show ended.
The break was over, and it was time for them to start playing again.
Skip and John did a little singing….
While Sonny and Mr. Clutz held the rhythm.
The ever patient Scarecrow.
Jason tears up the fret board.
Proper product placement.
This is the front of the folder they keep the song list in…
And this is the back.
In your face bass.
Showing the softer side of T.
It’s quarter after 1am, and Jason put the peddle to the metal.
This couple found the music good to dance to.
Did you get your G-13 fix tonight?
If not, too bad, cause that’s the end of the show.
A good group shot.
Well that’s all from Coins, see you next time.
