I arrived at the State Theatre in Falls Church, VA to find G-13 doing a sound check.
Scarecrow was busy making sure they sounded great.
For the rest of us, it was a freebie. (Deep Elum Blues if I remember correctly).
Afterwards it was upstairs to hang out until curtain call.
John started work on the set list….
Then passed it around….
Like a two bit hooker, everyone had a go at the list.
My wife Kelli was dressed in the latest fashion.
Skip tests the freshly tuned guitar…..
While Jason makes a copy of the final set list.
John thought that would be a good time to give us all a show.
For those of you who missed the show.
Do you really think he needs more coffee?
T not wanting to be out done by John shows us all the goods.
It’s been rumored that they dress alike when they date twins.
Alright guys, it’s time to go onstage.
So there is no question, Skip was first.
Jason was second.
Sonny was third.
No John, you’re number four.
Well, look who’s bringing up the rear.
OK, time for me to run to the front of the stage.
Brad gives the introduction….
And the first note is played.
I headed upstairs to get some balcony shots, and Kelli came along for the ride.
We had the entire upstairs to ourselves.
Scrow makes sure the sound is still sounding the way it should sound.

Jenn was the designated hooper for the night.
She was a lot of fun to watch, with a nice mellow rhythm to her hooping.
It was early, and not too many people were there yet.
That didn’t stop Jenn though.

By the end of the show, A few more people had shown up…..
But too bad for them, as this is the last note.
Joe Bernstein was on hand to tape the event.
The State Theatre was short on letters, and couldn’t put G-13 on the Marquee.
Back inside, it was chill time.
